did you actually read the spoiler plurks or just mute them? because it's not really their fault if you didn't read them, anon.

it was also never stated she was dead and the show has proven that if you don't see a body you don't know for certain.

miriam was set up to be alive when her arm showed up intact three years later

after that it was only a matter of time

a big part of miriam lass was that they never found a body which i would have taken as more of a set up than her arm. her arm just solidified that should could have and was probably alive. will said as much and jack kept insisting she was dead. they never found a body OR lots of blood/a body part until hannibal sent her arm two years later.

there's never been a body of abigail this is true but her kitchen floor also happened to covered in blood. i was thinking she might not be dead until i rewatched that episode and it's a lot of blood. unless hannibal was secretly taking her blood when she didn't know it and then just sloshed it all over the place, it makes sense that she's dead. that's a lot of blood. still, with no body, it's not COMPLETELY certain. it just looks more reasonable that she's dead.

it makes sense that abigail's dead if you look at it and the team did their work and all that blood was hers. i'm not sure if fuller said as much but it seems to be assumed/fact by now that what he fed bedelia was abigail. he talks about cooking it on a pile of hay- honoring the "veal" that he cooked. there's more evidence that abigail would truly be dead than any of the others, even if her body hasn't been found.

so how many characters do we have that people thought were dead until it was said otherwise? gideon was shot in the head and chilton was gutted. people still believed gideon was dead and possibly showing up in some hallucination in season 2, but surprise! jumping to the conclusion that will killed freddie when he hadn't been shown actually killing her? look at the show overall. that seems pretty stupid. going off an interview without watching the episode where fuller never said either way seems stupid, too.

ngl it did liven up the thread for someone to be so vehemently convinced they knew and were totally wrong

fuller had alluded to spoilers in interviews before especially regarding gideon's return, which was spoiled before season 2 aired. he also said that abigail was as dead as miriam.

if the person who I think it is is the one who told you she was dead for sure (their display name is PETER and I saw them tell a few people on my plurk freddie was confirmed dead)

just ignore that person in regards to hannibal related matters. i'm sure they're nice enough, but i've seen them all over my timeline telling people often-inaccurate shit since beverly died and they got really angry
