The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. don't try to justify metal gear's bullshit in an app, acknowledge that it's silly and let it fend for itself.

the series itself is at its best when it doesn't try to explain the crazy bullshit and just lets it go

Really the thing to do is to simply not think about the explanations and run on the assumption they're exactly as silly as what they explain

this is what I do for my apps from silly canons. if you apologize for and justify all of the weird shit in MGS, you'll never get anywhere, because this is a canon where the psychics can make your game controller shake and the president grabs your crotch, y'know?
