Post-Symphonia, pooooossibly post-DOTNW. Still not sure if I want to pick her up, but it's been on my mind for a while and I figured I'd at least ask around here for tips! You can just throw your thoughts at me, anything at all would be helpful, particularly things to avoid with her.

That wasn't particularly helpful. She's pure pureness, that's clear to anyone who's played the game, but how much is too much?

she's not pure pureness, though? it's really clear in the game that she's a genuinely good and sweet person, but a lot of how she expresses that is also mixed up with her expectations of herself as a chosen who people look to for help with world regeneration and her issues with feeling like the chosen has no worth outside of helping people. most of her main character conflicts in the game are her struggling with that. she's nice to everyone and doesn't want to put people out by admitting she has problems because she doesn't think she's worth anything as a person, that's why she covers up her arm turning to fucking crystal even after it's clear that everyone's worried about her. she feels like having any issues now that she's still alive is failing the rest of the world even more than originally deviating from the chosen journey and it makes her ugly and even more worthless.

she basically latches onto lloyd and everyone's belief in her as something to affirm herself and figures out a way to live with that and still try to help the world but her whole character is basically a play on "what would actually happen if you raised a nice person in the belief that their life as a person meant nothing in comparison to how great it will be for everyone when they die."

unless "kind of hating yourself" and "existential crisis" are how you define "pure pureness," anon...
