Apparently, the Runaway Girl is named "Annie" now.

Just "Ann" according to the credits, actually.

She's also voiced by Rie Kugimiya, which seems like quite a high profile voice actress for a character most of the fandom forgot about and will likely not be any more memorable in the anime. But then again, she's actually coming off as more charming in the anime than she ever did in the manga, so perhaps that was the point.

for anyone that still finds her annoying, she'll only around for the next three to four episodes.

I keep hearing there are better and cleaner scanlations of earlier parts, but I haven't seen hide or hair of them. The rough out ones I can read fine, I just want a better quality scan. Am I hearing things or are there cleaner scans out there translated?

Ignition One's scans for parts 1 and 2 are all you need. Part 4 is being slowly retranslated by a bunch of french canadian stoners, so, uh... don't expect quick results.

I'm halfway or so through part 5 and didn't read much of four at the time. I got the gist it and 5 has been amazing thus far, it's the quality that's a bummer. Still, it's better than nothing and I'm thankful we got it. Wish we'd get some official releases in the west of latter parts to own. :/

Actually Part 4 is nearly done, I think! They just have two more volumes to go. It's a really good translation, too. The same group is also retranslating part 5 so it's less bland.

Oh, I never said they weren't good, just that they work at a snail's pace.

This is correct. Part five is (slowly) being retranslated by Jojo Project, the guys who did parts six and seven.
