Oh beautiful, for spacious posts

Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

lol this

this is exactly what robyn did with her stupid petition and everyone hopping on board there with the last mod fiasco, linda's infinitely more tolerable at least but it's the exact same tactic of "informing" the playerbase by rallying the troops for assault

ste is the biggest bunch of bandwagoning motherfuckers i've ever seen and even if the mods are in a way worse situation in terms of accountability, there are zero parties that look good here especially now with that ridiculous plurk

it's pretendy funtimes, not the battle of waterloo goddamn

I'm not comfortable with mods who hide things and actively shut people out of plot (did not just happen to Linda and Batty), which has happened more than once. If you think people finally wanting to put a stop to that is ~raising an army~ then I have to wonder what shit you'd put up from mods.

+1

this was literally the only way any of this shit was going to come out. it's been happening in private for ages but nobody wanted to say shit because they all thought they were the only one

i wouldn't put up with anything, i'd just drop. it's one game out of over twenty and stirring up wank over it isn't worth it. if the mods really interfere with having fun in the game, all players will eventually drop like i did and the game will die without me sacrificing my dignity.

not to mention that i'd like to play in more than one game and becoming famous for this kind of tumblerino freedom fighter bullshit won't do me any favors.

this anon gets it

of course when you're, you know, overinvested it's hard to see the forest for the trees and pseudo-courtroom drama/shounen speeching it up becomes perfectly normal and oh we'll just see how it turns out it'll be fine r-r-right guys

protip: it isn't and you need to find a new game

it's theatre of the absurd at this point

It's better for it to come out and the game to die in a quick blow than a slow, painful death of no one knowing that others had the same problems, IMO. Then people can be wary of these guys as mods for future games, because unless they get their act together, any game they mod will end up just as much a disaster.
