cute as fuck but couldn't you just make this a psychonauts-type game except dropping the camping style stuff

people interact with mental landscapes, gaining powers and abilities that assist them in moving farther and accomplishing more, include a means of teleportation and bam

still i do like this idea, props to you op, do that shit

making it mental landscapes might work but i am uninterested in a "shared dream" so there'd have to be some other framing device and yeah, not camp. iirc there was already a psychonauts game? and i do want to make it friendly to adult characters

i also like the idea of character gaining powers - what if they gain powers unique to the places they visit? to continue with the batman examples, if your character visited batman's mental-world they might be able to gain the ability to summon bats or something - not literally copying powers but powers "inspired" by the places they go to

i want to encourage players to visit each other's places, and see what kind of mash-ups they can get, especially cross-canon cr

w/ psychonauts: yeah a game was already made and i think it tanked? adults were AUed as counselors and anything else was AUed as participants i guess

yee i would approve!!! maybe play off what destiny strings did with their game (dual personas type shit) and make it so that powers mix and improve as cr improves??? handwave it as "the closer they are the stronger these powers can be, up to x limit"
