rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Become the muting master and get yourself a layout that makes muted plurks semi-transparent. My timeline is constantly semi-transparent all over because I mute everything I don't care about and my plurk life is ten times better and twenty times less annoying.

95% of the stuff that pops up gets muted immediately to begin with. i just get annoyed at the rate at which i have to load and mute. load and mute. load and mute. don't you people shut the fuck up ever.

i also have a weird compulsion to load new plurks the second they pop up in the tab, though, so that's probably where my frustrations are really coming from.

Eh, I do the same. I like having my timeline free of unread stuff, so whenever I see a notif for a new plurk or reply, I switch to the tab to see. But it doesn't annoy me as much, though the majority of the people on my timeline are smart and respectable and keep the same subject to one plurk a day. Just a handful of new people have been frustrating me with 5+ plurks a day about the same game or about the same canon and I wish I could smack them to stop.
