Oh beautiful, for spacious posts

Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

It's unlikely that you're missing a clitoris entirely, anon, but it is possible that your clitoris is smaller than average, or that you have a occluded clitoral hood (the clitoris hood opening is partially or completely closed with the clitoris buried under the skin).

Go to a doctor (ask expressly to see a female doctor if you feel most comfortable that way) and explain your concerns about being able to locate your clitoris. Chances are they'll give you a simple examination and either be able to tell you up front what the problem is (and what your options are, if applicable) or refer you to a hospital or specialist for further examination.

It's really not scary to get your vagina checked out. I'm guessing you've never been to a gynaecologist before or else I assume you would have brought this issue up with them, but having people poke around down there really isn't as embarrassing as you may anticipate it being. I needed to go to the doctors for a concern with my own vagina last year and I was really mortified at the thought of spreading my legs for them...but you're being seen by people who have seen countless vaginas before yours. The fact any good doctors/nurses will be relaxed and professional about the situation should help you feel at ease in no time. That's what I found.

Good luck if you do decide to get checked out!

(I figured it wasn't completely missing but saying "it's not there" describes what I'm seeing more accurately than "it's really small". Thanks for the reassurance, though.)

And yeah, I don't have any trepidation about doctors poking around down there (possibly because of the general lack of...unusual sensation? or usual sensation I guess?), so I probably will do that eventually. Right now I'm still living with my parents and so on so it's not something I can run out and do - but I'm not in any real rush, either, since I never really thought to wonder why there wasn't something there. Which is weird, because I've never had any hangups about reading porn or exploring the nether reaches or anything. Not sure how I never made that connection.

...So I'm glad I didn't have to go anywhere unanon for that! Thanks for the advice and kind words, anon.
