some of the team choices seem really strange to me, especially between red and green. there are reds that seem better suited to green and greens that seem better suited to red.

judging by the mods' extended description of the teams? yeah, some could be switched around. but i figure this is kind of like a hogwarts sorting thing. everyone will have their own idea of who goes where.

Mods lightly hinted that red was good for morally ambiguous types, but I think it's interesting that some are putting antagonistic characters in teams full of goody two shoes.

I've noticed this a little, too. There are sneaky, morally ambiguous assassin types in green which is team meatshield and intended to be for military types and/or types with black and white morals. And then at least one military type and a couple of hero types in red.

It's not really surprising though. There's always going to be a certain amount of personal bias where people pick what they like most or just want to go with rather than what suits their characters, whether they realize they're doing it or not.

it would probably be more balanced if it worked like choosing signs did in zodion

people would pick a team and there'd be a small section on the app where they support their choice with why their character is suited for it

admittedly it would make more work for the mods but it would help cut down on the bias

I like that idea! Not that I have a big issue right now with any choices but it'd help in the future once the game gets going.

shoehorning all of one character type into a particular team would be boring. that said there's also potential to switch teams later down the line. people may just want to give different ones a try to see how their character fits in.

given we know nothing of mission types yet the first run will give us a better understanding of what they're likely to end up doing.

if everyone just shoves their characters wherever they want whether they fit the team or not there might as well not be any teams in the first place
