This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

I know we had a spread sheet around here somewhere but I didn't bookmark it and it might be outdated. What games out there have casts? It seems like we've dwindled a bit lately and I'm curious.

Tower of Animus has a small FF7 cast: Sephiroth, Reno, and Elena. Though, the game's wrapping up, and I don't know when the final app phase is (it might have already passed).

hollyheights has FF casts from 3 games: 6, 7 and 8!

VI: Celes
VII: Cloud, Tifa and Zack
VIII: Quistis, Seifer, Selphie, and Zell

And of course, we'd be more than happy to welcome any characters from the other games.

From IV: Rydia
and from IX: Garnet, Vivi and Zidane

VIII has an Ellone now and apparently a KH Leon that seems to be apping.

Vivi and Zidane idled out and the Garnet isn't really present. The Zidane was great.

I really liked our 9 cast. It was one of the first casts I was really excited to stalk. The game is fantastic and everyone was really on point.

I never even saw the Garnet and the Vivi felt a little weird? Maybe it was the edgy tryhard behaviour OOC, but I didn't care for them.

The only character that really threaded enough to stalk was Zidane and they were M.I.A. since January or so. I really liked what I saw from him, especially that post with the art for the Stuco Treasurey.

Oh, I didn't have the Vivi on Plurk or anything. I was just excited to see IX characters interacting since it's usually just a Zidane or a Kuja or something interacting.

Adstringendum (http://adstringendum.dreamwidth.org/) had a Vincent, Sephiroth, Zack and Angeal from FFVII, a Zell from VIII, a KH Leon and a Snow and Rosch from XIII last I knew of.

They're really hit or miss.

There is also Ruby City but ymmv with them.

there's a small ff13 cast at save the earth. noel, lightning, hope, serah, and snow.

I know there are a few FF characters at Rekindle. No real casts, though.

The game is locked so they're not stalkable and a few dropped off recently, but I've always liked the FF7 cast at Ariel.

genuinely curious, I checked out the cast a long while back because I was thinking about giving it a whirl and I saw that the Aerith said she played from AC and not ACC. Is there something to that, do you know? It's neither here nor there any more but this just reminded me.

She wasn't very active and dropped off a long time ago, but I think it was just a case of her never having seen the updated version.

Who were you thinking about trying out? Most of the main cast is still open, except for the main SOLDIER group and a few Turks.

Thanks for the answer. That makes sense. I couldn't fathom considering Aerith doesn't really change from AC to ACC. Except the whole calling the whole town on the phone from beyond the grave thing. imho but I ugly surprise snorted when it happened and I could see glossing over that part.

I should say Hojo because that would be horrible and I could say it was canon for him to be surrounded and fawned over by babes-

-except I was thinking of Cid. He's an old muse I was toying with reviving at the time and it just seemed like something he could bitch about and then try to find a practical way to deal with while instead making it more awkward than it already was. RL and the fact I'm very fond of Shera stymied me.

ACC added a lot, but not really much for Aerith as far as I can recall. Really just clarifying the plot, which... still doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but at least it makes more sense than before. Sort of.

I'm pretty sure the cast would be delighted to have a Cid, since there was some chatter about one a while ago. The cast seems fairly active and engaged in the game from my own interactions with them, so you could try giving one of them a ping and seeing if they could help you out. I was going to join up myself but RL got in the way for me too.
