The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. s2s this, but they do have a legal obligation to check on fan projects.

And a right to ask those materials to be removed if they feel it's too infringing or looks bad for them.

capcom handled this same situation and their response was worlds better than this

it was basically just a legal order for them to cut that shit out and cease all activity on the project. i don't think it was really that shitty imho.

and take down everything about the project including all the music they composed and sang. that's the crappy part imo.

what the hell did they expect atlus to do after they said they were going to put on a live performance of their copyrighted material? sorry but a company has every right to do something like that even if it seems shitty.
