As for how and why, well. I'd been meaning to read Kuroshitsuji for years, but my impression of it from rp/fandom was that it was terrible yaoi-bait. What I ended up getting was a series that's really more a comedy than anything else... It was so over the top and ridiculous that I loved it immediately. As for Sebastian, because my impressions of the series were wrong, I thought he was just standard pretty boy bishonen but he's really a giant moron. I fell in love immediately...
