i used to play pretty ~~dramatic~~ ok melodramatic shit until i slowly started to get the feeling that people didn't enjoy drawn out drama as much as i did. i also felt as though others were avoiding my characters because they were afraid i was the type of person who funneled their negativity and personal issues through their character. so i switched over to mostly planning crack and humor, which is fun! i miss playing drama and angst piddled out to the nth degree, a lot, but it's easier to recognize if the other player is having fun in a funny plot, and that's a pretty good feeling.

did the kinds of threads and plots you liked to play change as you played in games and memes, anon? tell me about them and why.

i used to be all shipping all the time, but i've picked up some characters that really only work for gen and i've found that i really like playing out characters arguing or fighting with each other

I'm getting tagged more for serious business in memes lately, by total strangers at that. Am I getting a reputation for being good for that or something?

I used to be all about shipping & romantic drama with my characters, but I've lost interest in those kinds of plots. Now, I have a lot more fun with action and gen CR. Dunno why it changed; maybe I just burned myself out on shipfeels, maybe it's a function of my changing character roster.

I used to be all about the ships, but then I realized I was ship pushing and driving people off. Most of my stuff in games has been gen for a while now.

(I still love shipping on memes and wish I could find a way to work it into my games.)
