A student falls from a window and it's ruled a suicide, but her social worker doesn't think the student was the sort of kid who would do that. It's a mystery set in the school as she allies with some teachers while getting trapped in red tape as the school struggles to cover it up. There's a lot about teachers fighting to support their students while appeasing school administrators and worrying about parent opinion.
