I'd like to find a laid-back female character to play because most of my characters are high-strung weirdos. I like visual mediums and prefer a canon that's on the shorter side - a few seasons/volumes/a movie, whatever. Basically just no 309474234 episode anime or anything like that.

Amethyst from Steven Universe? The series is ongoing but Amethyst is a very laid-back, fun loving character. Her time is divided between lying about being a gluttonous ball of laziness, and pranking people with her shape shifting powers (when she's not helping her fellow Crystal Gems protect the Earth from monsters).

She seems like she'd be a relaxing character to play, because she's upbeat yet relatively simple-minded, and would probably adapt to new situations with ease.
