So this is something I've been thinking about lately, a game or dressing room (kind leaning towards the latter though) based off the world of Minecraft.

It's simple, your character is just unceremoniously plunked into this world made of blocks. No instructions ,initially, I think after a day or two after opening there would be some sort of mingle thread with a mod controlled NPC to say okay first you need to punch a tree to harvest your wood, then you need to go into your inventory- Just think about it and it should appear! Now turn the wood into planks, now turn the planks into a crafting table... To give a basic crash course and for those who haven't started figuring stuff out on their own, because most of us pretty much needed help from friends or internet guides starting out.

Injuries don't produce blood, just a small 'shock' sensation and dying will be expected to happen frequently, and will be nothing more then a minor inconvenience because you'll loose all your stuff and end up at your bed again.

People's first night I imagine would be hilariously terrifying.

There's no network cause, there's not even a radio in Minecraft? I also don't really have any ideas for any over arching plot or anything which is why I'm kinda leaning towards DR as opposed to game. But this doesn't mean there won't be silly events and games and stuff either, I've got ideas.

But yeah, just want to see if his is something anyone out there would be interested in?

honestly this sounds like a really fun idea for a dressing room, though i'm not sure you could stretch it to a whole game-- i imagine the premise would wear a little thin without being actually able to play actual minecraft and build actual things.

it might be fun to have a private server for it, though, where people could play minecraft IC as their characters.

Seconding that this sounds like DR material... and DW really, really needs more DRs.
