rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

there's nothing that annoys me more than the people who hide the 'unfollow' button on plurk, in some petty attempt to make sure everyone HAS to follow them. sometimes i don't want to outright unfriend someone because we have some interests in common, or i want to be able to plot with them sometimes, etc, but i really dislike following them because of any number of reasons.

but if you don't have unfollow right there for me to click, i'll just unfriend you. enjoy the karma drop, bitch.

They might just dislike the way the button looks and assume that if you want to unfollow them you'll do it from your friend list? (I hate layouts that do that too, but it's just a mild irritant to me.)

that's possible! i don't know why it irrationally bothers me the way it does, but just seeing a hidden unfollow button is enough to make me GRRR and unfriend them on principle. stupid, but true.

wow chill that's probably just an aesthetic option. a lot of layouts come pre-coded that way. you can always unfollow from your friends list.

Some layouts have it pre-removed and not picking a layout that you like the aesthetics of just because it doesn't have an unfollow/fan button (because that's what the button is) doesn't mean they're doing it just to fuck with you. Half the time it's removed for aesthetics, the other half because you get less bots/spammers trying to follow you if it's not accessible from your layout.
