i might my starlight-honeys, gosh. no johnny-sensei gif will express how much i love them and want more spotlight on them!

i mean, it's great that there's focus on DreAca as far as rivals go but i just feel like there's almost too much focus. i want more audition contests where it doesn't A.) end in a tie or B.) DreAca wins

also i need more powa powa puririn (i need more shion in general tbh)

another thing, i want more mizuki. she moved to dreaca to produce more idols but what of her now? what is she doing at this point in time... forever a mystery, mizuki kanzaki

i also wish i saw some more rpers for aikatsu! i play ran myself and i wish i had castmates to bounce her off of

welp no more anon for me because A RAN are you kidding me? I've seen a couple of Ichigos (helped with usernames even!) but Ran is a rare one (we're all kind of rare tbh) so you made my day. ;;

I know Mizuki left to... do whatever Mizuki does. I'm wondering if episode 76 will end in Mizuki opening her own school for idols or something? I have a feeling Starlight and DreAca will be sister schools instead of rival schools, especially with how there's so much collaboration between the two.

I'd also like more of a split on what gets focused on. Totally get "new school need to see how they all do" but hell, my somewhat liveplurk for Aikatsu was pretty much "wow this episode feels like a rehash of Stylish Thief Swallowtail" and it really did. The new school doing everything the old one did is getting kind of... old, I guess? Have them do something new, instead of the same stuff we saw last year!

...though I will admit, super excite for Aoi getting her Constellation Coord finally. My baby finally gets something cute ;;

I HOPE SO, I'm wanting more of a story. I mean, original Aikatsu was slice-of-lifeish but not to this degree? With a rival school, I'd expect to see more rivalry-friendships that put more show on the rivalry aspect, much like in the first few episodes of this season.

I do too. :( Aoi is my favourite so seeing her on the backburner makes me sad. (Do idol animes include Pretty Rhythm, by chance? I've been watching that one too fff)

i haven't actually heard of pretty rhythm until just a little while ago, i definitely need to check it out! my other idol anime fandoms rn are idolm@s, akb0048, and i'm still sitting here screaming over wake up girls

i was writing ran's app to holly heights at the beginning of this month and i was complaining about how she hasn't had much characterization since s2 started - luckily that was the same week we got her ehomaki episode and while it's not much... it's still a little progress of getting some development with our stralight-honeys! maybe aoi will get something like that ;w;

re: the rivalry-friendship thing, i was really hoping for ichigo to bust out her ~*AMERICAN*~ training and kick butt unfortunately that isn't the case... and for kaede to at least be buddy buddy with her but iirc we haven't seen much of her either

PR is a lot of fun :3c I finished Aurora Dream not long ago myself, just waiting for Dear My Future. I need to give WUG a try though!

I HOPE SO I miss seeing the main three having some spotlight and development, especially since we had a year time skip (despite it only being a week rofl).

I hope more of them come out and get some showtime, along with the trio - PowaPuri needs some screentime, as does the last two from Tristar. I NEED MORE OF THEM.

Absolutely! There's so much character development! If you like idol anime, you'll love it.

Love Live is great too, but Aikatsu! tops the list for me.

There's a lot of development once you get into it! imo season 2 kind of dies off in terms of the development but season 1 is def worth it

i also enjoy love live! akb0048, idolm@ster, wake up girls are also good idol series. i'm currently watching pretty rhythm right now and am enjoying it
