There are characters in my game that I really want my characters to be friends with. But they tag so slowly there's almost no point. So I don't tag them.

And then I feel bad thinking like that and tag them anyway, and get trapped in a thread that takes months and months to get to any kind of point.

tell them you don't want to keep threading that long and handwave the ending so you know how it ended.
