completely agree, but there does need to be some sort of outline of actual smutting happening in a smutting game. i've been in more than one smut game and having people wave off the actual smut or drop partway through because 'ugh, too many tags, I need to drop everything ever' gets really fucking old. that's my + with ariel. the mandatory smut ac is great, but like you said, who the fuck wants to smut ALL the time? it gets to be too much and it can lead to burn out.

which is why I suggested the alternating smut/gen idea. it gives people the chance to work on gen threads without pressure, but I like the added idea up top of having there be an incentive/reward for consecutive smut months.
