what's the pacing like? i'm a potential newbie.

It's usually very slow/medium in pace. The only time it ever speeds up is when we get a lot of new people in at once.

I'm pretty slow in this game, honestly, but I make AC and CR just fine and then there are people even slower than me out there and they do fine. Some people, like the atla/lok cast, seem to go faster than most others.

Plots are opt-in and when major things randomly happen, you can still catch up in about 5 minutes if you were gone for that week or something.

Let's be real-- in the ATLA/LOK cast, it's mostly Korra who goes fast though. But the player is really friendly and generally willing to plot with people.

that sounds cool. maybe i'll end up joining because i'd need something like that.
