it's possible. my first home game was full of crack, ooc ships, and people just doing whatever the hell they wanted and calling it ic. i was young and it was fun, but eventually i grew up a bit more and realized how terrible we all were. couldn't enjoy it anymore. it was good for what it was but i'd outgrown that type of rping with no care for being in character, drama whoring, shipping anything and everything for the hell of it, and wacky events with no consequences. so i dropped.

man what i wouldn't give to find a cracky care-free game these days

i miss actually having fun. i'll take terrible over stagnating "overarching game plots plots" that never go anywhere and have no consequences. at least you know what you're getting.

i miss the carefree part. the horrific realization that i had turned some of my favorite characters into sex-crazed, fluffy parodies of themselves, not so much.

i do wish there were some crack-filled drs or something to get my wacky fun on.
