The creators have made it extra super clear that Shepard's story is finished and we won't be seeing them again.

I'm worried about them doing a sequel and not a prequel because I don't see how it'd be possible. The universe would be shaped in entirely different ways based on the ending you chose. They'd basically have to make 3 different games to fit every ending plus include choices like what was done with the Krogans.

Either that or pick one and run with it, and since a big part of the furor over the ending was perceived lack of choice to begin with... Even if the game was good, the fans would go apeshit.

I would rage because they'd pick Synthesis ending. That was the bastard child of all four choices and yet it was the one the creators clearly wanted players to think was the best. Little did they know that it would backfire immensely and become the most hated ending. There were devs that were so butthurt about that.

Clearly the head dev was a big supporter of transhumanism...
