Should be perfectly fine. One of the mods in fact plays Lightning - whose story is awaiting a third game installment of which she's the star character. That's one of a number of canons which aren't yet complete, so you'd be fine.

As characters regain their pasts piece by piece, you'd have plenty of room for the rest of the story as it's released. Suzaku here has been in the game for a handful of months and still has plenty to echo back. The pace of that is also entirely up to you.

Thanks! That was mostly my concern re: the character since I'm not sure if she'd be considered a canon OC so I'll definitely considering STE.

Oh, one more thing: when will the second phase start exactly or does it have an estimate time as to when it'll begin? Basically, I'm trying to see if my character will need catching up (?) if I app in right near the end of the first phase/start of the second phase.

Right now we have an estimated time on the second phase. What we've been told is it'll happen in the next week-ish if character actions don't delay it - and the playerbase appears to be trying to avoid delaying it.

You shouldn't need to catch her up, as presently the mods are working out a way to make sure people will be on a decent playing field. Sorry this reply took me a while, but I was getting this for your perusal. As you will be able to see, the mods are definitely planning for characters who app into the game in the second phase.

Oh gosh what is specifying, when I say series I mean Geass as a whole. I'm less familiar with Akito the Exiled, but I did download it recently. The character designs look pretty nice.
