rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. Neither anon is right, in a sense.

On one hand, yeah OP could go make some icons. But they did ask for caps/ ways to get them. Explaining like the anon above did about youtube is fair, so is telling them to try making their own. Them whining (which I don't see) about having to do that is fair game.

But on the other hand, including the self-righteous "Oh I had to make mine from scratch" thing is kind of cold, even if that anon did put in the effort to make their own icons. I don't know, I just see a lot of same anons on this thread with hateboners for David Cage + someone not being as capable as them when it comes to iconing.

they gave them plenty of options and followed up with, "show me!!" obviously they can't find them. and then another step was suggested: make them, go find the screencaps. find a program to make them

I don't know what you're trying to say here. The OP apologized for making that anon annoyed, explaining they don't know what they're doing/ tried and quote "created abominations" they'd rather not use. So it sounds like they just hoped to score some already made icons, before that other anon swooped in all "I fucking birthed my own icons you should do the same you weak plebe" and seriously, not a great reaction.

If you are smart enough to find a selection of caps from the game, don't berate the op for it. Either share the link or don't be a dick and just don't say anything. "Wow that was easy to find!" doesn't help anyone.

Also it's a really dick move in any fandom to come into a request just to say that fandom/item/ship sucks.

Not defending Beyond here, didn't like it personally but c'mon. Put your hate of a series in its appropriate canon category.

there are no icons of the character, so in turn the op needs to find someone to make them, or make them themselves. told op to search for pictures, op can't find pictures that were easily googled. i'm assuming they spent a total of five seconds looking through google images before they finally gave up.

tip: go to google. look up the characters name. add specifics such as child to sort things. are you seriously saying that i should link every picture i found because op can't be assed to do a simple search?

i wasn't someone who berated their taste in games, but generally everyone hates your canon at some point in dwrp.

and quit being a fucking drama queen. BIRTHING ICONS takes five seconds. hell, you can resize a picture in paint, save it as a png, and upload that to dw and you can crop it there. save pictures that won't look good resized and uploaded. use common sense and they won't be abominations.

only drama queens here are you and the "other anon" who on one hand go on about how easy it is to make icons but then how ~hard~ you had it making your super sugoi untranslated icons from scratch

only you didn't read it. my series is a lot more obscure than their vidya and yet i stilled scoured pages and pages for hours for icons. i didn't have shit to complain about because i wanted to play the character. i never said the icons were hard to make, you silly anon.
