rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The only thing holding me back from opening a game right now is that I feel like both the idea and my modding skills are better for a forum environment (even though I don't forum RP anymore)

I know nothing about DW layout nonsense and profile coding or where you advertise around here. (This post is great but is really nothing near the size of RPG-D over in forumland)

It's not really that different. You don't need fancy code, you just need something more readable than huge blocks of unformatted text. Dreamwidth's default layouts are fine for most games, especially if you turn off some of the useless sidebar modules.

Profile coding is something people do for their own personal lists of characters they play, as a way to show off their design skills. It's not necessary at all. Believe me, a game with a solid premise and organization and clear writing will stand out even if the layout is ugly. You can usually find someone willing to code it up nicely for you, too.

I want to play in your game.
