i don't know anyone here! is it easy to get cr? do people backtag? i see a lot of unfinished threads which is kind of a deterrent but i like the idea of the game.

i'm in the same boat as you. mods are pretty slow and don't seem as attentive as they should. there's little to no real interest from people in game, it's low priority.

i gave up, sadly.

Ditto. I knew no one in the game, and I kept tagging in and trying to get CR and when I got halfhearted responses at best or tagged back 2 weeks later, it just felt pointless.

Which is a shame, because there are some great characters there and I wish I was cool enough to be worth playing with. :(

i wish my character was cool enough for people to want to play with them. i'd also love to see more open logs/posts since it's really hard to try to stretch out cr when no one seems to be willing to make themselves available.

i also really wish people would prioritize this as a GAME and tag their threads. i've tagged with people who've said they've wanted to tag and then take weeks to get back to one tag. that's not how you play a game, sorry. if you don't want to play with someone, just say so. i'd rather go out and find someone who does want to tag.

and i wish people were more okay with gen stuff as well. so you don't want to sleep with this character. fine. doesn't mean you can't tag them at all.

I just want ANYONE to finish a thread with me. Sex, no sex, I don't even care about that.

It's so bad I'm considering idling out. I can't get anyone to respond to my posts, my character hasn't been able to really participate in events because I can't get threads done. :/ I had such a good time in the welcome log, I'm quite disappointed.

no, i totally get you. the opening log seemed like a good start and there was so much cross-medium/cross-canon, and then nothing. posts go up that are already locked to so and so and it seems to be one or two friend groups that want to play only within their group and give token tags to others.

i have one character out of the whole game i can get reliable tags out of and that kind of makes me bummed. i'm pretty sure it's because of the no ac system. people just push off tags to the backburner forever because 'no ac, this is my low stress game', but then the tags get pushed back so long, they just drop them because it's been over a month or w/e. and that really sucks, because i really like the concept and openness of the game.

The opening log was so great. I met so many characters and had so many tags to do, I was seriously excited. I had never been in a sex game before.

RP with me, experiment plans, I can't get anything out of them either. Nobody tags my parent posts, nor do they make plans with me when I hit up theirs. Trying to hit up some of my favourite people from that log for planning was unsuccessful in getting tags either.

I wanted to give people the benefit of the doubt with NaNo and holidays, but it's so disappointing. I came in with someone who left soon after and I haven't managed to get anyone to play with me successfully. It's a real shame.

the game seems to have attracted a lot of cliques and flakes. if you're not part of a clique or don't care that all your tags get dropped, sure, come on it.

there's a small percent of people who actually follow through on threads and tags, but you're going to have to hunt through things to find them. i'm in the game and not part of any clique cast and i'm having a bitch of a time getting anyone to prioritize this game's tags over other games or memes.

i have a pretty bad impression of the game so far. my attempts at tagging out have been minimally successful and open posts i've made have gone ignored for the most part.

ymmv, maybe i just have bad luck, but judging from other anons' opinions a lot of people feel this way.

i would advise against apping :( especially if you play outside of live action or something, it's a little hard to get grounded, not because there's a media divide or anything there's just less of them around. i enjoyed the people i threaded with there, but even from the beginning you could tell it was going to be slow and low priority. i dropped because it didn't capture my interest and i couldn't see it improving any time soon-- the events aren't very exciting, and backtags did come for me but very, very slowly.

i look around the comms every so often now and it's full of dropped threads and not much activity, so yeah, i'd advise against it even if you like the premise. the lack of ac means you probably won't get to thread much out.

Ive noticed sporratic activity and some cliques but im pretty sure low activity has been due to a bunch on hiatus because of holidays. Im still holding hope it will pick up soon and the mods will get more active once holiday stuff is done. Lots of people get swept in RL this time of year.

I don't believe anyone will ever prioritize a game with no AC requirements. They have no incentive to get things done in a timely way and treat it about like a meme. Sad to say most players are that lazy and unmotivated. It's why games that have AC still get complaints about squatters. People will do only the minimum to squeak by.

A lot of negativity, and I mostly agree with you all. But I have gotten some tags with people who don't treat the game like a meme.

And you are probably a part of the problem with this game, just for that. What's wrong with the player/character? If you don't want to tag Akito then fine but at least they're a reliable tagger. Go back to your clique nonny.

Shouldn't matter. They're being named an active tagger and you're shitting on it. Maybe you should go back to wankgate yourself. If you don't want to tag them, then don't but keep the personal vendettas to yourself. You sound childish.

They're a reliable, active tagger because they're 100% devoted to making every thread about their character. They've been included in a list as a recommendation for people to search them out and tag them, and I don't care if this is wankgate or rpanons, I'm going to counter that recommendation.

I've about given up on this game, but I've had one or two nice interactions that make me want to give it one more shot.
