Languishment has a 70ish or 80ish character cap, somewhere around there.
Smash Academy has a Pokemon cap which has fluctuated depending on how Pokecrazy the game gets.
Apprentice Wanted has a 15-characters-per-cast cap.
Overall I've seen caps work really well with little to no complaints.
Mods making games: don't be afraid of caps, please!
