i'd rather not say, because it's a really obscure series (i only know of one other person who's played from it in five years) and i don't know my psl partner well enough to say whether they visit rpanons. i'd rather they didn't find out about my issues in this way, if they do hang around here.

but i think i might try to approach them about it and see whether they're open to a dialogue about this. if they're not, i'll cut my losses and know i at least tried, i guess.

OP was replying to conversations from the last post. That's why there's a lot of irrelevant rambling about random Tales of the Abyss characters. Really, anon, if you don't like reading large amounts of information, a DnD-based AU game is not going to be your kind of thing.

Just be honest and say you're not feeling it. Think of how you would feel as a player of an obscure series who finally found someone to rp with until they went radio silent on your ass. Better a clean and quick, honest hurt than taking the easy way out and letting them hang forever.

I also miss focus-DRs, but DRs in general just aren't in style anymore.

but it's probably worth mentioning that all three times were by the same person and the second time got no response at all. :(

'dexup' and 'dexedup' are both available if you want the baddest and greatest pun of all.

Because when you're good with your hands, people say your dextrous and 10's run had at least three out in the world. Also, dex is a factor of ten.

i think we spoke on plurk (or maybe multiple people are playing akiko now? if so excellent.) but for posterity i'd like to say that philip and shotaro would love having their beloved chief at exsilium!! letting shotaro run the agency without her is asking for trouble. (he keeps offering to do work for cheap.) exsilium is a large, medium-paced (fast during events) game set in the future wherein player characters work with the mysterious initiative in order to remove the influence of the united earth, who control the majority of the planet, with the aid of time travel. at the moment the pcs live either on a base on the moon or in a winter wonderland-esque version of the city in the aftermath of the ue nuking the city of exsilium, but characters are moving to prevent the current condition of the city.

no problem, friend. i'm not very in touch with my heritage, but the mexican character i play isn't as americanized as i am - so i worry about getting stuff like this right too.

anyway, like bilingual anon said, not everyone is going to speak in the same way (i'll admit i'm just a sucker for the code-switch trope though), and based on that description i'd agree with them about your character not using spanish at all unless necessary. in the same vein, he probably wouldn't face anything too bad in terms of prejudice either - maybe an off-color joke every once in a while, if anything.

I don't believe anyone will ever prioritize a game with no AC requirements. They have no incentive to get things done in a timely way and treat it about like a meme. Sad to say most players are that lazy and unmotivated. It's why games that have AC still get complaints about squatters. People will do only the minimum to squeak by.

Hi there! I played in the Fate cast for a while, until recently (having cut down my character list due to time and voice concerns, though I may bring Kirei or another Fate back someday), but I've found them all lovely to deal with and had wonderful CR with them. Any conflict has been resolved, as far as I know.
