I don't think the hate/dislike would be quite so bad if they had something good going for them. They run mediocre plots, are pretty disorganized and can't even make things pretty without html exploding in their face. I'm here for the CR, not the plots so they're not the ones keeping me around with anything enticing. They're mediocre mods at best and the only thing keeping them into sliding into bad mod territory imo is the fact that they seem to care about our whiny playerbase.

there is one every once in a while, i've seen a couple of cast ones. the game is pretty big and doing well, so maybe it's not necessary?

I'd really love that, anon! I play from different mediums too, though anime/manga's my comfort zone (the following examples might give me away but I play from FMA, Gundam, and Supernatural).

Now that Valvrave's over, I really want to make/play a game loosely inspired by it -- dumb Twilight-level teenage supernatural soap opera romance and drama + space battles + nutty politics. Small cast, fast plot, run it just for a few months. But I can only really see this with an OC game and getting players for that kind of thing seems to not be easy.

and smh for people who say Sheik can't possibly have a dick because because Sheik is Zelda.

I swear, within the Zelda fandom it's like it can only be one or the other. (Zelda is somehow wearing a princess dress under a skin tight ninja suit and no magic is involved whatsoever, OR Sheik is an entirely different character with his own mind and personality because wow how could they possibly be the same person?)

I would love to play Sheik this way at a game someplace but I'm sure I'd be wanked on so hard by either ardent faction that it would ruin it. Sigh.
