rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Yes, I know Ariel is slow. That was a huge appeal of the game to me since I have job and a family to deal with. Only being online and free for a few hours a day makes a game like Ariel much less pressure and, as I said, I'm not a boomerang tagger. I'm able to get to my tags a few times a day (if my partners are actively tagging back) simply because I have so little going on in the game. I've been in the game for something like seven months now. I promise you I know it's slow. I know people have obligations and I'm sympathetic to that. I'm not demanding of others to tag back daily. I'm glad if I get tags every three days to a week. When I talk about some players being glacial, I mean to say that I hear from them once or twice a month. I wouldn't be worried about this if I didn't have so little CR and so much trouble getting more. I'm doing most of what the anons above have suggested. I go to people for plotting, I send plurks and private messages, I try to nail things down, I'm willing to start threads if the people I've made plans with can't or don't want to. Since it seems like I'm already doing what's been suggested to be successful in the game, I can only imagine my own time constraints or writing is holding me back and that might mean it's time to go. Thank you all so much for your input. I appreciate it.
