Can someone elaborate on this? I think I missed out.

at the end of the annie vs eren brawl in stohess, armin is the one who pulls eren out of his titan. he's also sitting curled up on eren's bed while they're waiting for him to recover.

the anime changed it so mikasa is the one who pulls eren out, and armin isn't nearly so physically close to eren in his room.

so on the one hand you have shippers who are upset, but on the other you have a lot of people who are upset that they're changing a huge part of eren and armin's dynamic to emphasize mikasa's dependence on eren
