i've sent in an app in the later half of the afternoon and had still (just barely) gotten a slot snagged. just a few hours shouldn't hurt but there's also add-ons for gmail to schedule a specific email at a specific time if you're able to keep your browser open and online.

Yep, noticed that after someone else went ahead and posted theirs, this is what happens when I read things really damn early in the morning. :x thanks for pointing that out though, it's appreciated! Wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't checked the page again after waking up more.
