rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

(Anonymous) 2013-09-14 03:47 pm (UTC)(link)I don't hate kids but I don't want to spend my leisure time playing with them. I'm also too old to relate to kids OOC on a casual level rather than as an Adult. I don't want to have to deal with the shitty situation of someone apping in the rarely played other half of my ship only to get cockblocked from ever playing smut because the player's a kid. I don't want to have to keep track of who's an adult and who's a kid so I can temper the form my CR and plots take accordingly.
I ran an 18+ non-sex game a while ago and we only had one person ever complain about the age requiremenet so I think the wank potential is vastly overstated. It also allowed for free reign with violent/horror/disturbing/otherwise mature plotlines since the game was explicitly an adults-only game.
