rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Oh, I remember that experiment from some of my psychology classes when I was doing my minor!

Social psychology studies like that are so freaking interesting and scary at the same time. (Like bystander syndrome, oh god. Or the The Stanford prison experiment.) I guess that's why I find making a game with those sort of parameters neat because I like reading about that kinda crazy stuff. I think it would really challenge a person to a) have their own views/opinions, and b) be able to ignore those in order to accurately write their character's views/opinions.

Which is also why I love when games/anime/movies force you to play with or follow a flawed main character.
