rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

1 - i used to play an LCW and i've been here for a long time. it's not that hard to get threads going, but you do have to be proactive and make sure you tag people who are pretty good with replying. i wouldn't trust RPA or WG re. which RPers are slow and which RPers aren't; i've gotten different kinds of results tagging from wankers and non-wankers alike, so bear that in mind. i think the the best way of figuring out which people to tag is to basically just survey the main and log comms and see which characters are good with boomeranging and backtagging. don't be too upset if someone drops your threads; always be prepared to tag others. most importantly: don't have a definite plan for your LCW that hinges on the participation of only one or two characters - unless you're absolutely sure that this person will not flake out on you regardless of whether they're a slow RPer or something. that way when player 1 or 2 or both flakes out on you, you can still be flexible regardless.

a lot of people in the events also need saving, controlling, or counseling depending on the character; that's a good way of gaining cr, too. basically when you app in ev, throw your character at people, but be smart about it and you'll eventually build your own cr despite not having a cast.

2 - i'm in another big game. i generally avoid being out of the loop by making sure my 2nd game is a lot slower and more slice-of-life than ev. it helps that i only have 1 really active character in this game, so yeah. my advice is that when you sign up for events make sure you read the write-up to figure out whether or not what you want to happen to your character is a week-long thing, or just 2-3 days. that way you can figure out how to fix the rest of your RP schedule.
