What's your style of writing? Do you plan? Write as you go? Or are you totally new to it all?

I'm a planner for sure! Starting my first project in quite some time. I've got my theme, goals, purposes of all my characters in relation to plot, my 3 big events that move the plot. Some ideas for symbolism and contrast. I've been writing journals for a few days now from my protags perspective to get more familiar with his voice. I fond though that everything I read gives my a new dynamic I can apply to some aspect of what I'm doing at this point so I'm wanting to expand my resource list!
