rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

they just end up looking stupid to me

As someone else who doesn't believe in hell, it's not so much that they think I'll go to some place I don't believe in, it's that they think that just because I don't believe in their god that I am worthy of eternal damnation and suffering. I may not believe such a place exists, but they do and they believe that I deserve it and that is just as cruel as telling someone to go die in a fire in my eyes.

This is my problem. I don't believe in any religion, but the fact that people think because I don't believe in theirs that I deserve a terrible fate for eternity is terrible. It's like someone telling me I deserve to be flogged, stoned, and then crucified for telling someone Santa Claus doesn't exist.

I may not believe in hell, but they do. Whether or not they're delusional, people wanting me to be tortured for all eternity for not agreeing with them is a bit bothersome.
