rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

I'm not particularly big into adult/horror games so just to the modding question -

So few ideas in this thread get picked up by people who actually go the distance, and so many get to the comm creation thread before their mods flake or can't follow through. The problem is, modding is a LOT of work and a LOT of investment, and a lot of them need more than just one mod. No rule says you can't find co-mods, but I'd be reluctant to start something up to just pass the reins on. Like getting to do the fun bits without any of the work, you know?

As far as anonymous mods go - I don't mind having a mod team have a single account they all use, but an actual 100% anonymous mod makes me a bit uncomfortable. For one thing, it's trust issues especially with personal problems and things. For another thing, it's really easy for an anonymous mod to just get up and disappear - if something happens to them and private messaging doesn't work, what then? Not that named people are always trustworthy or never disappear, but...
