That's my purse, I don't know you

Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

Is it possible you signed up for a class that isn't eligible for financial aid? That happens sometimes, usually for classes that double as certificate courses. It's also possible that an error occurred and your aid was altered by mistake.

Either way, you shouldn't have to worry about fees and the like for dropping until classes actually start.

I'm not sure, I hope I can find out. Do you think it has anything to do with the fact that I signed up for some online classes when I was initially going to take all on campus classes?

And classes started already. :\

online classes are almost always more expensive than regular ones, anon, and they're not all they're cracked up to be. you're missing out on a lot of the experience, they're easy to fall behind in, and overall they're generally not as worthwhile as just attending in person.

don't make the mistake i did and shutter yourself in all day. get out and see what there is to see and enjoy this time while you can. also, panicking is not going to help you here. offices are more than likely closed tomorrow, so go in first thing on tuesday and get it resolved. it might just be a misunderstanding and if you're patient with staff they'll usually do their best to help you.

i really didn't want to do the online thing but it turned out my schedule just wasn't going to let me to do the on campus thing. it conflicts with work and the times i get to go visit my daughter so there really wasn't anything i could do.

im definitely going to talk to them on tuesday to sort this out. its just i was already stressed and this added a whole other level of stress to the equation.

It's possible online classes may not count for financial aid at your school. Since you don't have to be on campus for them, they may not qualify you for full-time.

god, i hope that's not the case. you'd think they might've mentioned that though.
