Your pig

Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

Speaking as a fellow artist, please don't listen to that asshole. As the other anon said, it's your art. Only charge what you're comfortable with.

I just wanted to thank you both, I was afraid that I had really screwed someone elses commissions over-- so I'm happy to hear that is not the case.

But really, my commissions are closed right now for reasons not even remotely related to this thread. I just got some professional gigs that are going to take up my time and I don't want to skimp on any RPers art due to them.

You're welcome! And your concerns are reasonable.

Honestly anyone toting that "community" bullshit can jump off a bridge, because while I think we should be supporting each other when we can, at the end of the day, our work is very much an individual endeavor, and no one has the right to tell us what to do with it. I could go into a long-winded angry rant about historical BS regarding taking art away from the artists and putting it under the control of various "committees" but I'll spare you that and say it's unlikely you're hurting anything besides that anon's very tender bottom. Keep doing what you do!
