um, as far as felix goes, i think the most important thing here is that he's a nice guy. a genuinely, cares for most everyone that wanders into his path nice guy. he does the best he can for his game, and he tries his best to keep most everyone happy - though at the same time, he can be incredibly oblivious. not out of carelessness, but more out of being unobservant. he didn't even notice that ralph was unhappy, despite the obvious signs (like him living in a dump. and never trying cake, idek), though i do think he has ralph's best interests at heart (as well as the nicelanders).

as well as that, despite being uncomfortable with the way the nicelanders treated ralph, he never really... did anything about it when he probably could have. the nicelanders look up to felix and do their best to please him, so he's sort of gotten used to being liked and even admired - so if he ever came across someone that doesn't like him it's possible that he'd do everything within his power to try and change their minds - i might be wrong there, though, that's just a sudden thought i just had.

Those are all very good points! I noticed while I was re-watching that he does seem to want to avoid unnecessary conflict but as soon as he notices something is wrong, he's right there going n o p e.gif and trying to right it. I agree he also likes being liked but it may also be something he doesn't even realize he does. It's probably programmed into him because he's the good guy and because he's a fixer. He fixes things to make people happy. Or at least that's how I see it, I could be wrong!

The only other thing I worry about with him is getting his dialogue right. He has his own way of speaking and phrasing things and that's the only other thing I'm worried about outside of getting his personality down. (I'm thinking of going through his lines and just keeping them as a reference to look at until I can get a better grasp on his voice.)

yeah he really likes everyone to get on, though when things seem hopless something tends to snap and he's like WELL NO MAAA'AM. and he definitely fixes things to make people happy! he helps ralph fix all of the houses at the end and he definitely doesn't resent it. i love the whole programmed into him ugh i need to remember that

I created his journal the first time I got to see the movie but didn't really put him out there as much because of how uncertain I was with playing him despite loving the lil guy so much. Now, tho, I find myself wanting to try again. I might be a bit slow with how RL is for me atm but you'll most likely be seeing me around here and there. c:

Felix is totally different from all my other characters so he's a nice change simply by being such a genuinely nice guy.
