Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

thanks so much guys!

on another note... the character i'm considering would be a lcw from a canon not popularly played (on dw at least). and i don't really know anyone in game... do you guys think that would be a problem or should it be okay as long as i make an effort to become involved?

Hmm! You should do well so long as you get involved since as noted from our previous post our OCs also get a lot of replies if they get involved and they're almost always LCWs by definition. Colour me curious though, what might this canon be?

And as far as knowing people goes, I play with a lot of people I don't add on Plurk and chances are that your character and mine would cross paths if you're active, so no worries on that.

on that note, though, i highly suggest getting plurk/adding people on plurk when you can! it's a great way to plot and keep up with players and characters, and for others to be informed of your lcw as well! :) i was lcw for a long while, but didn't have a hard time getting cr. most of the people in game are very welcoming to that sort of thing! just so long as you make the effort as well!

No, that shouldn't be a problem. Haven is a very welcoming game, and the intro log in particular is extremely active with tons of people tagging around, so it's a great way to get lots of CR right off the bat. I'm sure you'll be fine!

I don't think it will. I'm a LCW and my series isn't played on dw a lot either and I have no trouble making CR. As long as you make an effort to reach out you should be ok.
