rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. that sucks but i can understand why they disappeared. i think the magic vs military game might be a bit too big for someone to mod alone

I am, indeed, still around! I've got a few ideas, too, but you're right in that it's a large undertaking and my life's a little up in the air at the moment.

Support is something that'll be needed to make it happen, people good with coding, bookkeeping, etc. If people are willing to volunteer, then perhaps dreams can come true after all.

That's good to hear, anon! Unfortunately I can't seem to find the old thread where I wrote up a bit of the premise, but here's the basic skeleton again from what I do recall:

- timeline would be late 19th/early 20th century, based heavily on imperialist Europe for setting (think Prussia for cultural inspiration)
- the world would be something vaguely similar to what FMA has going on, i.e. division of states ruled by a sovereign government, with officials dispatched to said states to rule by proxy
- the conflict (magi vs. military) wouldn't be SUPER high stakes, do-or-die like Exsilium, but still play a central role in the game

...and that's it.

If you guys have any other ideas for what you'd like to see, feel free to dump them there. Right now this is just working on the world itself, but if you want to voice your opinion on things like activity check, app style, etc. go on ahead.
