i have, although only once here on dw. never really had an issue with it.

I have. Idk what the big deal is, as long as people don't still think you're connected to the account.

if they personally ask for it and i never had that account in an actual game i'll give it away

Plenty of times! I don't understand why they don't just ask me to delete the account so they can make their own, but if they ask then I assume they want it for some other reason and give it to them.

I've given away like 10 accounts

One of them got involved in some minor anonfail wank but no one ever mentioned it to me so I figure it didn't get traced back

i know someone who gives away accounts they haven't used in more than 5 months

Many to friends, and I don't recall anyone starting wank with them either. Of course i only give away impulse made journals that i have done very little with.
