at some point someone who didn't like my characterisation of something wanked on me, or was at least involved in it. I'm over it, but they told me not to tag them in the game we share and I obliged.

Nooowww our castmates approve of me and keep making plans and that person acts all friendly in castmate plurks and even mentioned an idea for character interactions like. twice. and I'm super confused. so confused.

It could be either way, depending on the situation. But honestly? It's usually both.

idk it's a little fucked up if someone says not to tag them and then tries to get you to tag them without officially saying it

i'd just refuse to tag them and then if they get an attitude be like "oh but when we talked about this you said not to tag you so idgi???"

and then watch them writhe in awkward agony

I'm gonna try my best not to be PA about it but I think not tagging them would be the best idea. A lot of my friends got mad at them for wanking, so I don't want them to get upset about it either.

Don't know if I'd ever want to rp with a person like that.

I did have some part in the wank, but on my part it was my poor phrasing that confused those who wanked about me.

I'm not without fault, but I did do my best to stay calm and fair and find out what I was doing wrong!

i had something like that happen to me. this girl chewed me out because i disagreed with some weird headcanon of hers but as soon as i played a character she wanted she sucked up to me and tried to get me to join her game.

Haaa it's kind of a little similar. More like all their friends are okay with me now and they want in on it but hey i might just be paranoid orz

Maybe you've improved your characterization since then. If you want clarification, contact them in private. Remind them that they told you not to tag them and ask if that's no longer the case. Don't do it in a PA or bitchy way. Be straightforward. If you do it in public you're going to make your other cast mates uncomfortable dragging them into something that has nothing to do with them.

Yeah I think this is probably best. I'm not going to bring it up if they don't ask for any more tags but if they do I'll contact them privately.

'improved' really isn't the right word though, it's more so I got better at not phrasing things unclearly like an idiot
