Badly's an adverb

Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

My way of telling hunger from a craving is like so.
Are you hungry for a particular food item? Does the food item appeal to you in a way other food items don't? Are you uninterested in eating if you cannot have the particular food item? If yes, you are experiencing a craving. Do not eat. It will pass.
Are you hungry for anything you can get your hands on? Do all food items appeal to you because they will provide you nourishment? Would you eat any food item as long as it provided nourishment? If yes, you are experiencing hunger. You may eat.
If you are not hungry enough to eat anything put in front of you, you are only craving food. You are not experiencing true hunger, and your body does not need nutrients. Bodies do not care what food items taste like, only the mind does. Listen to your body's hunger, not your mind's cravings.

I think everyone needs to stop giving fucks about what everyone else eats. If I want my eggplant tofu lasagna stfu. If you want a cak I will stfu. Seriously. Why do people feel so entitled to have loud opinions on people's eating habits.

Actually, it's not a bad idea to listen to cravings because cravings often are your body's way of telling you that you need a certain nutrient. It doesn't mean eat right now, it means add something that is similar to the craving to your next meal.

For example, I'm craving some mac and cheese right now. That's an indication that I need to add some cheese to my next meal, not so much that I must eat mac and cheese right now.
