rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. yeah the people lacking the effort to come up with more creative posts about those specific aspects of the curse was all i was really complaining about. that's why i did point out that i like that this curse has so many potions and i won't let it fuck up my enjoyment of the curse on a whole or anything. i like that they offered so much so that i can ignore those aspects of it that i'm not particularly happy about and i'm not gonna go and spit in those people's cheerios for having fun or anything.

i definitely sounded like an ass though. this is why i should stay out of rp discussions on 3 hours of sleep and several straight days of work. my bad.

Question; how do you feel about someone who chooses to go the lost balls/vagina route but does it in a different way than OH NO MY BALLS?

No one has really complained about that though. People often just find posts that are basically "HEY GUYS THIS IS THE PREMISE OF THE EVENT" without any prompt past that to be uninteresting and difficult to work with no matter the context. That doesn't mean that they can't exist, but I'm not going to begrudge anyone for thinking so either. The reason why penis/vagina events like that get an extra bad rep is because a lot of people feel that the posts are basically that: copy-paste event announcements identical to several hundreds of other posts since the days of LJ.

But that doesn't mean that awesome things can't be made from either and I know for a fact that every player I've talked to that's doing those curses definitely have some great for them, and I'm definitely looking forward to that.

seeing a non-recycled post for this would probably make my day a hell of a lot brighter. i'll applaud the shit out of anyone who steps outside the box with this one.
