A'ight, it's storytime.

This is a story that my friend, the person involved, won't tell out of complete fucking embarrassment. Some details may be off because this was a bit ago, but a while back I invited my friend to come play at a game I was in where Boku and several others were playing DGM characters (not my fandom at the time). Prior to joining, she said she talked to the lot of them on Plurk and voiced that she wanted to app one of two characters and asked them to help her decide. Character B was decided upon by group vote, she applied and was accepted.

She survived about one post before Boku got upset and subsequently the rest of the cast because they felt the character was not being played to their standards. Instead, they offered her threads to one of them playing Character B in a musebox and encouraged to emulate them. Different interpretations are not allowed, despite what they might attempt to tell you. You must play according to their own ideas without having your own even if it means disregarding canon.

My friend had been dismayed, but was willing to try because she wanted to be a part of a big cast. Her attempts, however, were ultimately futile. They told her that now the entire cast wanted to drop the game because of her! She was simply too terrible to be played with but she wasn't being told why or how, which spurred her to contact Boku directly. Boku, in that conversation, went on to tell her that he hadn't actually wanted her to app Character B. He only told her that because he wanted her to get rejected and be forced to app Character A. Since she was there now, with Character B, he wanted her to drop.

Let me repeat. He lied to her about what character he wanted her to app and then outright told her to drop so he could play without her interfering with his good time.

So she did. And I told her to contact the mods about the shitty people they had in their game.

He's the kind of person to say shit like "yeah everyone hates you, you should go away" even if like virtually no one agrees with his crazy ass.

This sounds SO spot on for behavior I've seen from Boku constantly. That and the passive aggressive BS you describe here have basically summed up the core of why I stay as far away from him and all his enablers as possible.

i know someone who got out of the clique and i have deets he lies to everyone and no one knows exactly what's going on. except maybe the queen of shit there trying to claim he's someone to trust.

I'm inclined to take any story I hear anon with a grain of salt, because anon. However, if this is a true account of Boku's behavior at the time, it's a shitty way to act no matter how bad a character it was.

if there is a problem with someone trying to app a character that doesn't have enough canon this is exactly HOW NOT TO DEAL WITH IT

as someone else who plays from dgm i wouldn't want to see a 14th allen apped into a game because there's not enough canon, which means i wouldn't enable one, would express my concerns straight up to mods and to the player if they were someone i was friendly with

but here's the bottom line: it is not okay to be a passive aggressive dickface to a player just because you don't like the character they happen to play, and all of us who know the difference between IC and OOC know this. boku, who plays allen as a shitty self-insert, apparently cannot make that distinction, and his enablers apparently can't either

cool so according to the story, all that needed to be done was NOT ENABLE THE PERSON FOR THE CHARACTER. just suggest they app the other one?? like a decent person would do??
