rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. Sorry about the coding. I guess my tastes are a little tacky compared to most. I'm more than open to feedback. Any suggestions are welcomed.

I just want it to be as good as it can be. If you have any critique, I'd love to hear it!

I really love the coding, but it can be just a little too much at times. I really like the background change you did to the layouts from th previous one. The previous was lovely, but this is much easier and a little less chaotic.

For the rest, I think simply losing the border and black background will help cut down. A little too much black on black. Without it, it'll look a bit more simplistic and be easier for people on phones and the like as well.

And personally, I'm in favor of leaving the navigation as is.

These are all just my thoughts, though.

For what it's worth, I'd probably join regardless since I do like the coding as is but can see the complaints with it as well. My probably only stems from my schedule.

I understand how that can be. No matter what, your encouraging words made my night. Even if it's not anytime soon, I hope you still get a chance to play with us.

I'm really glad I could help! I'm pretty excited about this game and pretty sure even if not immediately I'll end up here one day. You've made something excellent here, in my opinion.

I haven't looked too deeply into the game yet, so I don't know if I'll be joining or not, but I think that it's a good sign that you're so open to critique. :)

Other mod here, and Id like to say that it's all Jao working on the code so Id like to give a round of applause to her for reworking the journal layouts.

And she's working on it right now so again, critique is welcome.

Honestly we want the game to be the best it can be, and getting criticism is a big part of that. We are planning to have a "How's the Game?" post at about a month in, and we'll put up a general version of that for use the rest of the time on the contact page.

We'd love to have you in the game, and I ask people to bear with us while we work out the kinks.

You might have changed things and I didn't see it before but I think what you have is fine. It's nothing super fancy but, frankly, from a web design stand point, clean and simple is better. It's faster and easier to find info that way. (However, you have some line-height issues here or there in the sidebar that makes text butt up against each other.)

However, on the mods account, that text you have on that image? You need to get rid of that, that is a pain to read. I almost overlooked the links in it because I thought it was just some cheesy random banner. The text is large and, honestly, ugly, and the dark background and the black feathering makes it blend in in a way you don't want (like starting guide reads as "starting gu"). If you want to keep the BG at least consider a better font, make the text smaller, and don't make it black, or at least add some light text-shadow or something to it to make it stand out a little.
